Madagascar is for families. Kids are extremely welcome here! We’ve seen folks traveling with kids under-five and we did too, before we moved back. Our first family trip to Madagascar we did with a 1.5 year old baby and a almost three year-old. They loved it!

We prefer to work with families with kids aged five* and up, as many of our trips include walking and or adventure situations, such as riding in a boat. *Families with younger kids can visit; just know that young kids are not yet good at expressing themselves that tropical diseases and water can be harder to identify and treat. If you are not familiar with back-country or adventure travel we’d recommend you wait. That said, for some families, Madagascar is just fine! Our kids were 2.5 and 4 when we moved back, and they are healthy and strong!
